About me

Hi, my name is Lukas Klein, I am 28 years old, originally from Gifhorn in Germany and proud to have found my home in Ålesund, Norway, since 2024. I was immediately captivated by this city with its maritime charm and unique architecture. But it is not only the city that fascinates me – Ålesund is located on the Norwegian west coast, and with its proximity to untouched nature and the world-famous Geirangerfjord, it is a perfect starting point for exploration. This is where I combine my two great passions: Photography and guiding people who also want to experience the beauty of this region.

My interest in nature and adventure has always been a part of me. Hiking, fishing and discovering remote cabins are more than just leisure activities for me – they are sources of inspiration that constantly fill me with new ideas and perspectives. And of course, I always have my camera with me to capture the special moments and the unique nature that Norway has to offer. The time I spend in traditional Norwegian cabins, which are often located in the most stunning landscapes and represent a place of peace and contemplation for me, is especially magical.

In 2024, I took the leap and became self-employed. This decision not only gave me more independence, but also the space to organize my work according to my own ideas.

Photography is much more than a profession for me – it is an art that I am constantly developing. By studying media and art, I have not only been able to expand my technical skills, but also developed my own personal style. What I enjoy most is working with people. There are few things better than making someone happy with my photos and helping to bring a business to life visually.

As a guide in Ålesund, it is important to me that my guests feel welcome from the very beginning. Every tour should not only be informative, but also inspiring and authentic. I place great importance on meeting my guests at eye level and establishing a real dialogue – whether it is about the city’s fascinating history or the many unforgettable experiences we share together. For me, every tour is an opportunity to create something unique and share the beauty of Ålesund with others.

Whether as a photographer or guide, my goal is always to achieve the best for my guests. It fills me with joy to help people capture their special moments or give them an unforgettable time in Norway.
