Lukas was an amazing guide!!! He was so knowledgeable about so many different subjects (not just things seen during our walking tour), and he was very patient with all of our questions. The pace of the tour was perfect—plenty of time to stop for photos, and also time for a coffee/ice cream. Lukas was personable, friendly, and approachable. We highly recommend this tour, especially with Lukas!!!

It's wonderful to learn about a city from someone so passionate! Lukas loves his chosen home and it's easy to see why. He can customize to your interests and has a lot of interesting facts and history as you wander the town!

Lukas covered lots of history and information about Alesund giving us a full two hour history lesson on the city and Norway answering many questions along the way. Well worth the money!!

Lukas covered a wide range of historical subjects. His narrative was particularly interesting as he is a lover of Norway, but not a native of it. He is a Norwegian by choice and so his perspective was particularly interesting. I especially liked the statues he showed us about the Norwegian resistance to the Nazis during World War II.

We had two wonderful hours in Ålesund. Our city tour guide Lukas was extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the history, architecture, and personalities of the city. He also gave us an engaging explanation of topics such as energy supply, bridges, and tunnel construction in Norway. It was a thoroughly enjoyable trip, the likes of which we have never experienced before. Thank you very much!

Tour was excellent. Guide was very well informed and communicated a lot of history and local culture in a lively and articulate way. He has passion for the area and his job and it showed.

Lukas planned a well thought out route taking the many different special land marks, monuments etc particularly the buildings Art Nouveau Architecture, his knowledge of the history and its chronological order of how Alesund moved on from fishing to its current day, referencing the dates and land marks as we walked. We all thoroughly enjoyed listening and having our inquiring questions answered, I would recommend Lukas's tour.

We were traveling in a relaxed small group. Lukas took a lot of time to answer our individual questions. We can only recommend the tour with him to everyone.

There were two of us with the guide (no tourist rush). Very informative, took his time, answered questions and showed us the beautiful places in this great city. There was no real time limit, we even had two beers together. Best city tour I've had so far. I can only recommend it. PS The guide is a native German speaker, so his German is perfect 🙂

My husband and I enjoyed Lucas' walking tour of Alesund. He took us through many interesting points, and explained numerous facts about the city, culture, architecture, history, and what living in Norway is like. Lucas is also a photographer, and took pictures that he later sent to us. He was very personable, accommodating and answered all of our questions. Overall, a great experience!
