We had a great tour of Ålesund with the very knowledgeable and friendly Lukas. He not only knows the history of the city in depth, but clearly has a real passion for it and for Norway as a whole. We truly appreciated that throughout the experience. I cannot emphasise enough how impressed we were overall. This was one of the best tours we have taken anywhere. Our highest recommendation without hesitation.

Lukas was an excellent guide with a huge amount of knowledge about Ålesund, the wider region and Norway in general. He has a lovely delivery style and is clearly passionate and enthusiastic about his subject matter. He shared insights on the economy, oil and gas, history, nature and infrastructure in a very engaging way. This was a highly recommended tour and a great overall experience for us.

Lukas was an amazing guide. He was extremely knowledgeable about many different subjects, not just things seen during the walking tour itself, and he was very patient with all of our questions. The pace of the tour was perfect, with time for photos and also a relaxed stop for coffee or ice cream. Lukas was personable, friendly and approachable throughout. Lukas covered a wide range of historical subjects in a very engaging and thoughtful way. His narrative was especially interesting as he is a lover of Norway but not originally from here. He is Norwegian by choice, which gives him a unique and insightful perspective on the country. I particularly liked the statues he showed us connected to the Norwegian resistance during World War II and how he explained them.

There were just two of us with the guide, so there was no tourist rush at all. The tour was very informative, he took his time, answered all questions and showed us many beautiful places in the city. There was no strict time limit and everything felt very relaxed, even ending with a drink together. This was one of the best city tours I have had so far and I can fully recommend it.
